Free to test.
$19 a month to keep watch.

Testing a server is free forever, in the browser or the terminal. Monitor is for servers people already depend on: it tests yours every hour, checks it's up every 5 minutes, and emails you the moment something breaks or changes.

a month, for life, as long as you stay. Yearly: pay for 10 months, get 12.

  • 3 servers, each with its own private page
  • A full test every hour, the same safe-mode test as the free one
  • An up check every 5 minutes, so you hear about a dead server fast
  • An email when it matters: down, back up, slow, going up and down, score dropped, a tool changed, a secret leaked, a problem fixed
  • A live badge for your README that shows the current score
  • 1 year of history: every score, every change
  • Slack alerts in your own channel, as well as email
  • Servers behind a login: save a key and every test uses it, stored encrypted
  • Teammates who get the same alerts
  • Verified owner mark once you prove the server is yours
  • 1 security test a month on a test copy of your server soon

Before you pay

Does paying change my score in the directory?

No. Scores come from the same test for everyone and are never changed for money. Paying gets you monitoring and alerts, not a better number. The directory rules

What does Monitor do to my server?

The same as the free test in safe mode: it only runs tools your server labels read-only, and only when their name, description and inputs agree. It never runs tools that sound like they delete or change something.

What happens when the 50 founding spots are gone?

New customers pay $29 a month. If you started at $19, you keep $19 for as long as you stay subscribed.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from your dashboard. Monitoring stops at the end of the month you paid for.

Is the free tool going away?

No. The test, the terminal tool, the GitHub check and the directory stay free and open source (MIT). Monitor is what pays for them.
